“How I Reclaimed My Power- One Walk At a Time”

There was a time I thought discipline was something harsh, something forced.

But one evening — out of frustration, hit by life —
I put on my shoes and went for a walk.

Not to burn calories.
Not to chase a goal.

But simply to breathe…å
to breathe air not poisoned by lies, deception, and ego.

I cried the whole way.
I asked God all kinds of “Why’s.”

But when I returned home… I felt a release.

The next day, I walked again.
And again.

Until — before I even realized — it became a ritual.

That walk became rhythm.
Then breath.
Then a return to myself.

Evening walk became my prayer —
through which I reclaimed not only my strength…
but my body.
